Bearwood Lakes to Host The Open Regional Qualifying for Second Consecutive Year in 2025

We are thrilled to announce that Bearwood Lakes will once again serve as a host venue for Open Regional Qualifying. After a successful inaugural year in 2024, we are proud to have been invited by The R&A to host Regional Qualifying for the 153rd Open Championship, set to take place at Royal Portrush from 13th to 20th July 2025.

This prestigious invitation highlights the exceptional dedication of our greenkeeping team and reflects the ongoing commitment and investment from our Chairman. We are honoured to play a vital role in The Open’s journey and look forward to contributing to its rich legacy while providing an outstanding experience for players and spectators alike.

The 2025 Regional Qualifying at Bearwood Lakes is scheduled for Monday, 23rd June 2025.

We eagerly anticipate welcoming competitors and supporters for another exciting chapter in Bearwood Lakes’ association with The Open.

Bearwood Lakes – Proud Hosts of The Rose Ladies Series

From 2020 to 2023, Bearwood Lakes had the privilege of hosting the prestigious Rose Ladies Series, including the Grand Final in 2022. Founded by Justin and Kate Rose, the series was created to support and elevate women’s professional golf in response to the challenges faced by the Ladies Tour during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Having been personally invited by Justin Rose, we were delighted to host the series for four years running. Below is a short summary of each of those events.

2023 Rose Ladies Series

We are delighted to have personally been invited by Justin Rose to host a leg of the Rose Ladies Series in April 2023.  Liz Young was victorious in this years event, with a great score of -3.

2022 Rose Ladies Series

We were delighted to host, for the 3rd year, another leg of the Rose Ladies Series.  Hayley Davis was victorious after her runner-up place last year.

2021 Rose Ladies Series Grand Final

The Rose Ladies Series Grand Final at Bearwood Lakes was won by 1st time winner Chloe Williams.  Chloe shot a stunning -4, followed by Hayley Davis and Cloe Frankish on -2.  Chloe Williams was overcome with emotion, taking home a cheque for £20,000.

2020 Rose Ladies Series

Georgia Hall, having come 2^nd in all her other three Rose Series starts, went one better at Bearwood Lakes by taking top spot.

Georgia gave full praise to the Club.  “Being one of the most exclusive clubs in England expectation was always high and the course certainly delivered”, Hall was heard to say that the greens were the best she had ever played on in Great Britain!

Bearwood Lakes Practice Facilities are designed to help you loosen up before your game, improve your swing and work on your technique. Courtesy golf balls are laid out throughout the day for our Members and their guests. The chipping area and putting greens are built to the same specification as the golf course. The perfect environment within which to hone your skills and refine your game.
