Laurent Guyon

Executive Head Chef

Laurent trained to be a chef in France and has spent most of his career working in 4 and 5 star hotels. He has been with us at Bearwood Lakes for 3 and a half years, sharing his knowledge, passion and extensive experience with our kitchen team.

One of Laurent’s proudest moments in his career as a chef was taking part in the AA Rosette Academy, a UK national competition, where he finished in the top 3!

Another highlight was being on the team that won the first Michelin Star at Cliveden House, a Luxury Country House Hotel.

Laurent has incredible attention to detail and enjoys showcasing this through creating beautiful desserts. Another speciality is his mouth-watering game dishes, which he is looking forward to sharing more of throughout the winter months.

Our Kitchen Team are always looking to enhance our menus with seasonal flavours and local ingredients.
